Die Spike Video Games Awards, kurz VGA, zählen neben der E3 und gamescom zu den aufregendsten Events des Jahres. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung werden nicht nur die besten Videospiele gekürt, sondern auch zahlreiche Ankündigungen zu Neuerscheinungen gemacht. Dieses Jahr hört das Event auf einen den neuen Namen
VGX und fokussiert sich auf die nächste Generation der Konsolen. Heute wurden die Nominierten in den 21 unterschiedlichen Kategorien bekannt gegeben. Die Auflösung folgt dann am 07. Dezember 2013.
