Xbox 360: Xbox Live Duelle plattformübergreifend!

Microsoft scheint in einer Xbox Live Umfrage bestätigt zu haben, dass mit der kommenden 'Xbox 360' ein plattformübergreifendes Onlinespiel kein Problem sein wird. Die Kollegen von Theinquirer haben dazu folgendes Zitat bereit gestellt:

"Xbox Live is an online gaming service that works across both the current Xbox system and the future Xbox 2. You will be able to play online and compete against others across both consoles. If you are playing an Xbox game on Live you will be able to compete against people playing that same game on Xbox 2".

Alles scheint dadurch darauf hinzudeuten, dass somit einer Abwärtskompatibilität nichts mehr im Wege zu stehen scheint. Zusätzlich wird es möglich sein, dass Xbox 360 Spieler ihre gegen Xbox Kollegen antreten werden können... Na wenn das mal keine gute Nachricht ist!
